Domestic Transfer

In those countries where many consumers are not able to access banking services, Mi-Pay works with local Mobile Operators, banks and other financial providers to provide consumers with a wide range of financial services including domestic money person to person money transfers and payments all delivered through their mobile phones. Mi-Pay also uses the same system to facilitate a network of agents located across the country who also get paid to use their mobile phones to provide various cash based services to the local population.

International Airtime

Mi-Pay's GlobalTopup™ service is an international recharge service supplied on a "white label" basis to mobile phone operators, MVNO's and others, enabling consumers in one country to purchase and transfer value as airtime directly onto family and friends prepaid mobile phones. Senders register for the service online or through the clients contact centre and make payment through card, bank account or as cash paid to a local agent. This service supports multiple denominations and currencies and is already used by a number of international mobile phone operators as "sticky" revenue earning service that is particularly attractive to migrant workers and those with relatives and friends overseas.

International Transfer

Mi-Pay also provides a fully PCI compliant and secure mobile remittance service to its clients that allows their customers to remit money from one country to another. Again, senders register their mobile number and personal details with the platform to obtain an e-wallet account before topping up the account from a credit/debit card, bank transfer or cash paid into a local agent. Money can then be remitted from this account using their mobile phone directly to the recipients bank account or to a local service where the recipient can retrieve the funds in cash from a local agent.
