Mobile Agents

Mi-Pay provides a wide range of infrastructure services to support agent networks providing pre-paid top up and other financial services to consumers in largely cash-based economies.

Our StreetVendor service delivers a low cost retail solution for selling mobile prepaid topups and other products through small retailers and street sellers. It distributes electronic value for prepay recharges across a network of prepaid airtime vendors supporting and managing chains of vendors and related sub-vendors across multiple territories.

Retailers can then resell that value to the mobile customer, earning commission as they do so. Retailers can manage the sales process entirely from a mobile handset, and take cash for doing so; expensive new terminals are not required. Other goods and services such as insurance can also be sold via the same system.

In addition, Mi-Pay enables networks of mobile agents also providing a wide range of cash-based financial services including handling domestic and international money transfers, bill payments for numerous products and services and acting as "Mobile ATM's" providing cash out facilities in largely rural areas or those not served by an adequate ATM network.
